Science Experiments

I found a video on YouTube showing 3 Awesome Science Experiments you must try at home. These three back to school science experiments are very basic and require no special and expensive equipment to perform. You can also perform these experiments at your home to make science fun and explorable but remember you do it at your own risk. Now as I have already embedded this video clearly showing each and every step involved in these experiments BUT I am considering to write an extra bit of information in case your internet connection is not letting you watch this video (LOL).

1- Carbon dioxide or water

The first experiment is pretty simple. You take a candle, jar, plate and water.Place the candle on the plate and light it up.Now put some water in the plate, careful not to make the candle fall over. Now the moment of truth has come.Take the jar and put it over the candle, encapsulating the candle from the air around and watch the magic.
You will witness with your eyes // in case if you are not blind// the candle flame will be put out by the invisible gas Carbon dioxide produced by the flame itself. As CO2 is heavier than water, it will push the water up in the jar giving you a visual of invisible interaction between the two matters.

2- Kitchen Chemistry

Alright now, let us do some kitchen chemistry to produce CO2 gas.Get some vinegar and baking soda, a water bottle, and a balloon.Put 2 teaspoons of baking soda in the balloon, of course, you can use a funnel to do it.Also, put some vinegar into the bottle. Now take the balloon and draw its neck over the mouth of the bottle.
Raising the soda laden balloon up and dumping the white powder into the bottle with vinegar will cause a chemical reaction liberating carbon dioxide gas which will eventually cause the balloon to inflate.Another thing you will observe is the bottle will get relatively cold to touch.

3- Pharaoh's Snakes

This is one of the coolest experiments you can perform. At the end of this experiment, you will see large carbon things emerging out of the experiment's location. These are called Pharaoh's snakes. This experiment is done by mixing 3 to 1 ratio of sugar and baking soda respectively and then spraying some fuel like alcohol and lastly to light it up.And you will see that Pharaoh's snakes will start sticking out of the spot.

Conclusion

All these experiments are very cool and fun.The best part is that these can be done easily at home to explore science. Moreover, these experiments involve playing with fire so children always do them under adults' supervision.
