Starting out as a photographer and then rising and shining in the world for your work is the most wonderful experience you can ever have.But it is not that easy and of course, it is not that difficult as well.To start out first you will need a camera and some basic knowledge of how to play with a camera.So I thought of writing and making a course which will cover all the aspects of photography and will guide you to how to take great photos with your camera.So starting out you should know what actually Photography means.Well, it is not necessary but it is appreciated to at least know the meaning of a term with which you are going to start a professional career.So Photography is a term with word photo which means Light and graphy which means to record, So photography means Light-Recording.Now on you will be familiar with the term photography.
Now let us also mention what actually is associated with photography.The simplest photography can be done with a pin-hole camera but keeping in regard this day's requirements, every photographer in the world is using a digital camera except for someone who still loves potato quality.As we have started talking about the camera, let us get in a little more detail.
Camera
The camera is the heart of photography because it is the weapon which records light and gives an output in the form of a photo.Cameras are classified into two main groups;
1-Digital Camera
2-Film Camera
Film cameras had been used since the first camera was invented.These cameras use films to record light which is later then processed in a dark room to get a photo.Of course, this process takes time and limits the number of photos you capture as you can only take photos equal to the number of each film regardless of how the photo come out to be.But talking about digital camera, we can furthermore categorize it into types;
1-Point and Shoot camera.
2-Digital SLR.
Point and Shoot cameras use a digital image sensor which can take unlimited images but it also comes with some side effects like not many pixels, compact undetachable lens, no manual control and lower quality photos.But to solve these problems DSLR camera come into play.These cameras have got all the properties that the point and shoot cameras lacked.
Writing further I must mention some extra stuff and equipment which is must-to-buy along a camera.You will know their importance after you really start indulging yourself in photography.These equipment include;
1-Tripod.
2-Flash gun.
3-Strobe Lights.
4-UV filters.
5-Lens hood.
6-Caps.
These gadgets can affect image quality in many different ways.For instance, a tripod is really helpful in taking long-exposure images, using a lens hood to avoid lens flares and more.
Going through everything in understanding the basics of photography is highly recommended.I have touched all the points for a very beginner to understand everything needed to start your career as a photographer.I will continue writing other posts of this course so you can continue to benefit from those and grow as a successful photographer.
